Just bought a car with a Sony CDX-S2200 fitted (no manual) which worked perfectly for a week, but has now deveolped a fault. The radio still works fine but the CD player is no longer sending any sound to the speakers although the display indicates that the CDs are 'playing'.
Any ideas??

oh wow i had the same problem with the same radio i dont know what was wrong though i took it to best buy and had it fixed something with one of the radio components was faulty
I would remove the stereo and disconnect the power wire (Ignition live and permanent live) to reset the stereo known as a "hard reset" if you find it does not cure it I would get a new stereo as it would probably cost more money to fix than to buy a new one!
