Peugeot 307 ICE upgrade?

I am trying to add an amp but can't find access into the car through the engine bay. does anyone know where there are any hidden grommets or places to get in? Has anyone done this before on a 307?

thanks

hi i have a 307 and recently put an amp and sub in the boot. i had to run the power cable under the through the hole where the door hindge is then back under the carpet seal on the inside. i didnt fancy drilling my car!
you can safly put a hole in your bulk head.

Put it in the passenger foot well about level with the bottom of the dash take the passenger seat out and rip up the carpet dill hole you can buy special bulk head gromits to make it safe. Look in engine bay to make sure you dont drill into any brake lines.

the path that has been surgested i would not recomend esp for thick cable 4 - 0 gauge.

Thanks

I am a professional installer.. Becky you need to re-route your power cable ASAP.. its not safe round the door hinge (I hope for your sake it`s fused)

As for the 307, for a medium size bass box/amp you can pick up the power from the Fuse Box main Power in or from the Ignition Barrel. It`s a bit of a Cheat but ok if you`re DIY.

I would drill a 10 or 12cm hole with gromet and sealant in a safe place on the passenger side bulkhead if you can`t find a factory grommet.. to access the engine bay (ie Battery)
