How can I make my car quieter so that I can hear music better?

Answers:
Cheapest way is to check the tires. It is mostly tire noise that drones into the cabin. You can try quieter treds.

Other more expensive way is to add noise muffling sheets to the body of your car and firewall. Most vans have this material sandwiched between the carpet and the metal body at the back because vans are usually prone to road noise in the enclosed shell.
freewheel downhill lol
turn the engine off
try lining your car with this stuff, its great

Buy a new car
Take it to a mechanic.
It is possible to sound proof your car, depending on how old it is what make and most importantly how deep your wallet is, have words with a few sound system shops they will know what garages in your area might leave you with an arm and maybe even a leg after the work is done.
Shouldnt have the music that loud to begin with, how can you hear sirens etc if its loud, one day your life may depend on an ambulance getting through traffic, but there could be idiots like you who just down hear and slow things down.
Tell it to shoosh
turn the engine of

or try to check from where the noise come

and also change the audio accessories
there is a product called dynamat. it will help reduce road noise and stop the vibration of the panels when the bass hits hard.kepping the music louder and more refreshing.the following website tell how to install as well where to buy it. good luck and have a great day!!

Non-directional tyres (ones that aren't specifically designed for the left or right, front or rear) are supposed to be quieter than directional ones and can be picked up for under £100 each if you look hard enough.
I think http://www.b-quiet.com/ looks pretty promising as well.
It also depends on the surface of the roads you're on - some roads are awful and others can be a lot quieter
remove the chavy exhaust from the back of it!!
