What are the conditions and how much will it cost to ship a car from the UK (london) to South Africa?

I understand that the conditions would be different for a second hand car as oppose to a brand new one.

PS: The answer i require is for a second hand car

Answers:
not necessarily a wise move. I have a friend who shipped her car from SA to UK a few years back. Even though the manufacturer is represented in both countries she still has to import spares from the republic, as nothing quite "fits". Driving and weather conditions are very different between the two countries and the cars are designed to deal with them. Sell your UK car and buy another when you get there, unless of course money is no object and it's something like the DB5 out of Goldfinger, in which case I guess you wouldn't be asking this question in the first place.
You need to enquire of a shipping agent eg P&O, Kuene & Nagel. You also need to contact SA Customs (website below) to ask about customs duty & VAT. It may be cheaper to buy a car in SA, they are much cheaper than in the UK.
