Has my car passed its MOT?
So how do you think its done? I had it serviced on tues night and the bloke said it was very well looked after and not much was wrong with it - its 10 years old!

servicing and mot are completely different, as in the servicing guy will not check for damage, or emissions or brake wear etc.just top up oils and lubes and belts.
mot guys do fairly in depth inspection (or should do!) so there may be something like a blowing exhaust which would fail you or a light being out etc.
Well after a service it should have passed with flying colours.
My dads car which he has had for 14 odd years passed itsmot the other day.
Forgive me taking a deep breath and counting to 10 slowly but how on EARTH do you expect us to be able to answer that based on that little information and having never seen your car OR being qualified mechanics? By the sound of it, it will have passed and even if it doesn't you'll have a period of time to get it fixed and re-tested but WE can't tell you any more than THAT! Sorry.

you have to trake it to a proper MOT station and get a certificate, you cant tax the car without it
