How much can you earn being a Helicopter pilot?
Answers:
In the U.S. it depends much on your flying experience and what line of work you are performing, ie.flight instruction vs the oil rigs, etc. Keep in mind, certain jobs will require 1000-2000 hours as minimums for insurance reasons. It seems most start at $50k here.
In the US VI a fixed wing pilot for a small sized firm makes about $30-33,000/year USD. Helicopter pilots make about the same, sometimes just a bit less.

According to my mate who has a commercial helicopters' license, not enough to cover his costs in getting the license.
Spend your money training to be a plumber instead. The money is better and you only have to put up with **** on your terms!
In the UK most helicopter pilots tend to come out of the military background so normally commercial pilots can't compete with the hours or experience they have. Difficult one to answer!
Seriously become a plumber, it's safer. Remember a helicopter is just 10,000 bits of metal all moving in different directions that some how manages to fly!
