Why is it today the younger youth drivers, have to have music soooo loud?
Answers:
Yes it is dangerous and completely unnecessary. But who buys the cars/stereo systems/subwoofers for these kids? That's what I always wonder.
its not necessary is it? there should be a limit as to how loud they have the music.
Well it's illegal in ireland after 11, they call it noise pollution in residential areas, not that that stops it. C'mon Sharon, it's cooooool!
to impress you with their sound system, that they spent more on than the car!
we wana be heard, we want people to look and take notice, we wana stand out! haha im about to buy my system and it wont cost more than my car its relativly cheap actually, its only gona be like 400 bucks at the MOST, cuz i already have the main noise-maker, the subs
I've seen many ned-mobiles carrying far too many people, blasting out hardcore house. We just laugh at them. Surely, they must know how ridiculous they look!
They are mongols.
I think eventually there will be laws against it. Sure, loud music can be good, but not when it prevents drivers from being totally aware of what's happening on the road. People shouldn't eat and drive, either for the same reason. Drivers should have full control of their hands, eyes, ears, feet while driving. Most people are not really impressed with an obnoxious sound system these days unless you're driving through the ghetto.
its a bloody pest
EHHH. WATCH U SAY??
I used to crank mine to back in the day. more appropriately. look how many MORE kids have their own cars! It's not the volume of the music. it's just that there are a lot more of them on the road to notice!
Oi Mrs mole.
They are not to be associated with me in any way!
I don't play my music that loud.
lighten up! they just want to share their fav. tunes w/ u so be appreciative and enjoy.
Right-on! Surely they can hear the music just as well without blasting out the music (if you can class some of it as music) over a radius of about 1 mile! TURN IT DOWN BRO!
To make sure people take notice of them it is cool and gets them noticed.
Also they have the right what do they care about others is it not their problem.
I agree the police should try and stop it.
Its not just the young uns ,I'm 39 and have my car stereo on full blast, tyres screetching to the sounds of loud metal!I'm a cool gran and mother and like to get attention, you dont have to hear an emergency vehicle that's why cars are fitted with mirrors, how do you think deaf people manage to drive.
Because when they are not driving they have ear-phones to listen to their ipods or MP3's and they have them so loud they are going deaf already. The whole idea about ear-phones is to listen to your kind of music without disturbing others around you, but how often have you been in a train or bus and can hear the music someone is listening to because the sound is turned up so much? I don't know about the rest of the world but Britain is becoming a nation of deaf people for this reason.
Because they're insecure and frightened and desperately trying to fit in with some "group", like gangsta thugs and hiphop music
Pure and simple ignorance, they do not care about the safety of other road users or the disturbance that they cause to the general, the noise abatement act or the disturbance of the peace(between 11::00 pm -7::00 a.m)are usually ignored by them and the police,a few prosecutions and a lot of these incidents will stop
i think you are just mad that that some people stereo system cost more than you car and are probably worth more than your life.. anyways thats why emergency vehicle's have lights, idiot
In Grand Haven, Michigan if your stereo can be heard more than 20 feet from your vehicle it's a Disturbing the Peace ticket.
ITs so load becuase they have access to the power. If the youth 20 years ago had the access to the power we have now it would be the same problem.
if you are really honest with yourself what has it got to do with you? if you dont like it dont do it but if other drivers be it young or old want to play music or make noise its up to them. my advice would be get yourself a life and stop bothering other peoples. you saddo
Thats funny how people are trying to guess the reason.lol Why do people do anything anymore? Why the f#ck did you post this question in yahoo? Beats the hell out of me. Please if you dont like it dont come on here with your complaints. This isn't the HR department. Okay, have a nice day.
Because we CAN!
Well when i was young and had to pay big insurance bills i could only afford a banger and found the loud music hid the noises and squeeks the car was making
IF ITS TO LOUD.....
..... TO OLD
simple, because we want to. it is a law in most places, but if you spend a couple gran or more on your system is a ticket going to stop you from playing it. and i know i have over 10
I check my mirrors twice as often as the normal person, never run stop lights/signs, and even when the lights green I dont just pull out in the intersection, you never know one of you "responsible" people might be drinking coffe on the way to work and spill it on yourself and hit me so Im not takin that chance system(loud stereo) or no system. I could be deaf and I would still be a safer driver than 90% of you goons on the road (cops and EMV included) the way you asked the question lets me know you just drive down the road blind to anything thats not in front of you or that grabs your attention if you have to wait to hear a EMV. Dont forget I dont need a upgraded system to drown out a EMV because most radios will already do that so its nothin special Im doing in terms of that. And just to let everyone know, I could give a fuc if yall hear the music outside the car I didnt pay over 1000 dollars on my setup for YALL, GET OVER YOURSELVES, Id actually preffer you didnt that way I couldnt get tickets and still have it that loud and I will soon be spending a few hundred dollars on sound deanding materials so my car wont be the one rattling itslef to death and it will be a little quiter on the outside. I have a very loud system but i dont ride through neighborhoods blastin it anymore once I realized how loud it was, I knew the thing was loud in the car but I never realized how loud it was untill I had a friend drive my car off through the neighborhood with it on full tilt and i heard him about 4 blocks away. It sounds crazy but when your sittin in the car and then you get out to hear it, its not that loud compared. The problem is when the car pulls away even though its not as loud as inside , the sound level dosnt really go down untill the car gets a good distance away. I bet anyone that has never been 2 or 3 blocks from their car while it was being driven with the radio up and is fairly new to the sound system thing dosnt really get the scope of that and know just how loud their system really is.
