I have a vauxhall vectra?
Answers:
I changed over to my Sony head unit and plugged in a small 'adapter' that allows you to use to steering wheel controls.
Works great. - About £30 from Halfrauds / £20 Ebay.
If you get a vauxhall player it will cost you an arm and a leg, although it is the best option as all the fittings and wires are made to fit (plug & play). You can get adapters to fit quite a lot players. Take a trip to Halfords the radio guys there are good. It will be a lot cheaper than a main dealer player.

Forget it. Buy an iPod and an iTrip
why?
the vauxhall is the american symbol of the german make OPEL (a german car co. owned by GM).
a best buy 4 a CD player 4 ur car should b 1 of these makes:
1. Sony Xplod Sieries.
2. Kenwood.
3. Pioneer.
4. JVC EXAD Sieries.
5. Clarion (but this is quite expensive).
check a local car electronic that u know (or a know person 2 u recomends), & ask him what kind suits ur car & how much it costs, & how 2 install it. good luck! :)
yes you will have to buy a Vauxhall CD player to make it compatible with you controls on your steering wheel.
If you have an i-pod you can buy a cd player with an USB connection .And you will be able to play your i-pod through the cd player.
my dad done the same with his transit he took the one out went to halfords and got the special fit thing to fit in the hole for a transite and then put the cd player/ face off in !!
definately cheaper!!
You have 3 options
1..Buy a vauxhall upgrade cd ..a bit expensive
2..You can get an adapter lead coverts from vauxhall to Sony, kenwood ..ect..but what i will say is to check this option out with your local car audio shop..still expensive
3..Buy a cd player with some form of remote , not as practical as the standard steering wheel remote but a lot cheaper
Good Luck hope this helps you out
