How can i get 1 or two months car insurance?
Answers:
just ask, any reputible insurance company will insure you for that length of time, my bf got insured on his sisters car for a week
Think you just phone them up and arrange it. They can choose how long the insurance is for, i have known people just to have it for a day.
If you have to get a longer term policy w/ monthly payments. Then simply cancel the policy when you want.
I used to buy it by the month, I'm sure you still can, if a big name company doesn't want to write a policy that way see an independent agent, he will help you.
have you called your regular car insurance people?
or you could try putting yourself on someone else's insurance temporarily, I have done this before, it is not too expensive.
the post office.it costs about £25 for a month
Ask a company for a cover note when you apply for insurance, tax your car, then cancel when you make out you don't need it anymore, and pretend you've sold the car on.
Sorry if you're not dodgy, but thats how I've known others to work around the system.
It actually depend on what state your in. like in NJ that would almost be impossible because all insurance companies bill 1/4 or 1/2 year. But PA bills every other month. If you don't need great insurance and you just need to get buy. I would try
State Auto- those commericals "play it safe", they offer a quick soloution and prob offer monthly insurance.
Have you rang the insurance compnay and asked?
Call around to the insurance companies in your area, and ask just what you did. I have 3 different companies that do monthly policies. Do some cost comparsions it can make a good bit of difference. Please be ready to answer general questions like: age, address, license number, made, model, year..they will be glad to help you.but don't jump on the first quote.call several people before making up your mind! God bless us all..
Take a year out and cancel it with 10 months to go.
