HI does anyone know what size speakers will fit in to a mk 1 mondeo there are not 6x9 or 5x7's please help

6x9's wont be a direct fit so if you dont want to mess around making bigger holes go for the 5x7's that come with a plate to make them 6x8's, most of the speakers on the market that are 5x7's come with adapter plates for this reason. would personally go for a 6x9 and if your not able to do the adjustment your local car audio shop might for a small charge, 6x9's have a massive range as opposed to 5x7's

The best way to get 6.25 round speakers into a Mondeo doors is to buy the adaptors by Autoleads from Halfords, that allow round speakers to be fitted into the existing aperture in a Mondeo door. It is possible to fit 6x9s if you dress back the hole with a hammer, but do it carefully. I have a 6x9 in each of my doors on my '95 Mondeo Mk1
just stick a 10inch 480watt bridged "mutant" sub in your boot with a sony explode amp powered straight from the battery and a few door speakers and you'll be laughing, you won't be able to hear yourself laugh though but you will feel funny.
ask in halfords or similar as there used to be a catalogue telling you about uprated speakers that would fit in standard openings.
