Depends on whether you have it done at a main dealer or a smaller garage. also which grade of service is it .. A,B or C ?depending on mileage. Prices also vary according to the make of the car.
I brought my car from new over 5 years ago, and can say that it has roughly cost (on average) around £280 a time. With the exception of the BIG 30k one which cost me something in the region of £350 !!
Car services have got soo expensive now in the UK due to the labour costs that garages charge !! Talk about well paid mechanics !!
i got a free service under a warranty and i still had to pay 87pounds sterling (sorry my pound key does not work)

the same amount in a ford/vauxhall main dealer will get you an oil and filter change (basic service)
if you go to a dealer.around £150+ depending on parts needed PLUS the labour costs (Land Rover charges £57 per hour used on your car)
if you do it yourself about £30 and a bit of your time!
