Fiat Punto Radio Code?

How do I get my 2002 Fiat Punto to accept the radio unlock code (obtained from Fiat) following a replacement battery? It's a basic Blaupunkt

I had that problem and v code was with all v paperwork to v car but i took it car audio place to get it done properly only cost £10 but it was worth it to get my tunes back!

I had the same trouble and found the radio had been changed .Apparently the garages take them out to stop them getting nicked on the forecourt etc. and just bung the first one they come to in when the vehicle is sold.On removing mine from the car I found the true unlock code written on top of the radio.
