Does anyone knowhow to check the transmission oil in the automatic vauxhall cavalier. 1600cc. year 1993?

Answers:
start up the car, while leaving it in park check the dip stick. your car has two dip sticks one is engine oil and the other is transmission fliud. transmission fluid will have a red tent to it. it should read in side the hacht marks. if it does not add a pint at a time, drive it a little and check again. remember pull wip, reinsert dip stick and check again.
CHECK THE DIPSTICK
Only one way to my knowledge. Under the car - on the gearbox there SHOULD be a fill/drain 'plug' about half way up on of the ends. The fluid should be to the lower edge of the hole when correct (ie. not flowing out).

Much, much easier to get a garage to check & top it up!!
yes thank you
