Code number for a radio cassette player in a vauxhall vectra 1998?
Its a 1998 vectra, 1.8 artic. I have just bought this car from my friends dad who said the code was in the service book, but true to form when i looked for it (only after disconnecting the battery) it had vanished.
Yes i am a true blonde and suffered a "blonde moment" and can not listen to any tunes in my car.
Please help, as life is very dull without music when driving.

if you haven't changed it from the factory setting then it should be one of these. have you looked in the vehicle documents. or if you can pull the radio out as some people write it on the back of the radio sometimes.
every radio has its own code as my husband tells me so no one will know this one
have a good luck through all the books that you got with the car, you are looking for a 4 digit code.
from new the codes are on a credit card sized card along with other security numbers.
sometimes if the car has had a few owners the number will be written on the back of the radio, but if all else fails 15 quid at your local car radio place will see it with a new code.
vauxhall will give you code number for about £10 you need your tunes good luck
