Answers:
If you are in the Uk, it's the DVLA, Swansea.
i don't think you can get it removed its there for the cars life it will make the car harder to sell sorry to be the bearer of bad news i had the same
Try contacting DVLA
Jack Army!
You need to have it inspected by Autolign.
See http://www.autoligninspections.co.uk/.
If the vehicle has got a writeoff cat. against it, it is unlikey you'll be able to get it removed. The writeoff mark is there to inform buyers of the vehicles history. Even if the vehicle is in showroom condition now, one cannot hide it's past.
you need to contact DVLA, check their wb site, but i dont think you can have it removed ,, i think it has to stay on there so peolpe know it was originally involved in an accident,, most garages, wont buy or sell cars that have ben written off!! but chack their web site,, it has most answers to an questions..
