This radio cassette is not standard for my car. The ariel is conected and the cassette works fine but all I get on the radio is static. I do not have a code but assume that as the cassette works there is no need for it. Any help would be appreciated.

get rid of it and get a CD player..or a new cassette player. sounds like the tuner is shot.
Get a new aftermarket radio youll be alot happier with the sound quality and who still uses cassettes anyway unless its to plug a cd player into a stock radio?
