Phillips SC201 car radio not standard radio 4 car. Cassette works but only static from radio What can I do?

antenna may not be plugged in properly--mine had a 3rd connection under the glove box
Try using a new aerial, if you get static it's usually because the radio isn't picking up any stations a new/better aerial should help.
Are you on the right frequency ie fm not mw or lw?
The antenna may have fallen out of the back of the radio. You'll have to remove it to check.
There is a good possibility that the antenna plug on your car is not the same as the recepticle on the radio. (assuming the antenna is plugged in to the radio) adapters are available in many stores. Also you may want to check the connection to the antenna although it is very unlikely that the wire has come loose.
