I bought an in car radio from America. Is there an adaptor to enable it to receive FM and AM in the UK?

Answers:
you shouldnt need an adapter am/fm is the same but in the us am steps are 10mhz in uk they are 9mhz if its a differnt connecter on the back they halfords or a car spears shop
DO THEY BROADCAST AM/FM IN THE UK.OR DO YOU EXPECT TO RECEIVE RADIO SIGNALS FROM THE U.S.?
Some model radios are location-specific. Check the instruction manual to see if you can select between North American and European channel spacing. If you can't do it from inside the radio itself, i don't believe there is an external adaptor that can help you.

i expect not. if you can pick up dab then yes. same as the jap imports. its not happening mate.
