I have a kenwood KDC-7031 car stereo and i don't know how to play mp3's on it.?

do i have to download from a disk or attatch an mp3 player?

Answers:
You just need a CD-R or a CD-RW with MP3s on it!

Burn your own - if you have a CD-writer. You could probably get 4 CDs onto a single CD-R/CD-RW if you use the minimum compression (4X) - with no loss of quality.
Don't be tempted by higher compression ratios - 44x will make everything sound like the Muppet Show - wouldn't do the Kenwood justice.
You have the wrong format for auto stereo, Mp3 is for Mp3 players only. You need to copy those disks and then record them onto new cd's using the wav format on your cd burner.
You need to record your MP3's on to a disck that supports MP3's this will then play all your songs some can save up to 300 on a disc
what it means by mp3 is it will play cds with mp3 tracks on use your computer to burn your mp3s to disc and hay presto
