Replace car vcr with dvd?
Answers:
yes, it uses the exact same hookups as the vcr would. just make sure the vcr is not a 12 volt model and see if the vcr is a 120 volt model then go to the store and get a fairly medium priced player. you go cheap and it will skip easy. and yes anything you buy at the store will be able to be read, if it is burnt right on a dvd, then it will play, no matter what that freak says. they will play if burnt right and in the right format, NTSC.
Yes it is possible. But, why don't you keep the VCR and get a DVD player? Some movies have yet to be released on DVD as of yet. Besides it is practical to keep a VCR to record some of your favorite programs or movies from TV. Some DVD players still have trouble playing DVD+R/-R.
