Can all portable generators be used in all weathers?

Answers:
if it has a three pin plug like the ones in your house its not suitable for all weathers if it has round type sockets that fit iside one another it should be fine but bear in mind that electric and water generally dont mix! all the times ive used generators outdoors i always stop when the rain is on
Most generators can be used in wet conditions .find a stout piece of board to use for a base and wrap a plastic bag around all the sockets and connections and tape up securely. A generator may freeze up in snow or fail to start. A small light generator may blow away in severe wind..so be careful!
they can be
I do not see why not. You may need different oil or fuel in the winter than in the summer. You may need to check the fuel tank or fuel line for water accumulation in the winter. But all this should be in the generator's operations manual. The manual may have a list of accredited repair shops in it. Call one of them. They may know, too.
Yes they can be used in covered areas if they are not weatherproof.
