"Official. You can't beat Japanese car reliability."
a 1987 Yugo
A £200 banger cos the rest would pay off my debts.
A Dinky toy car and invest the rest Real cars are a waste of money
a 1923 model-T
A new Mustang!
Honda Civic 2.2 diesel
if a new car then i would buy german as bmw, mercedes and vw have the lowest depreciation rates about. i.e. your car will be worth more than other markes if you want to sell it in a few years.
personally i recommend buying a 2 year old car as it will have dropped a lot of price, still be under warranty, and will be a good car for 3 to 4 years still. up to you really.
but for me the temptation to buy a jaguar would be overwhelming
would just need a second mortgage for the fuel / service and insurance costs
brand new ford focus st. a lot of fast car for not a lot of money something ford have always been good at .e.g.
RS2000,escort turbo&sierra cosworth.
Something cheap and reliable, for maybe £2500, then blow the rest on beer, women and a new Suzuki GSX-R1000.
Vectra or a new Mini. Then spend the rest on me.
A nearly new BMW 3 series, like an 320i or 320d, because of the following;

Very Reliable
Economical
Fast
Superb to drive

Can be hefty to insure though, so check that first.
Had mine since just over a year from new, and it has >140k miles on it and still runs superbly. I have driven many cars and NONE have ever done these miles and havent tired, trim fallen off and rattles appear. Not with my beemer, i am a convert.

In a performance/economy balance, they are unbeatable for the class. Cant see myself with anything else.
a chevy
Cobalt
The RenaultSport Clio 182 Cup, then I'd have to spend the rest on a year's insurance at my age.
ford sierra rs 500

cause there faster than jap crap yet 20 years older
it must be german(not vauxhall), they hold there value, built well, good brand, reliable.

dont go japanese, although they too are relaible, u will lose money!

go for a bmw 3 series, audi a4, mercedes c class, vw golf gti(car of yr)

personally i'd choose bmw but they are fine cars.

never other makes america, japanese, ONLY GERMAN!!

if u dont belive, check sites or 2nd hand ones- u will see how much they cost compared to same spec other brands
chrysler p.t cruiser they stand out there lovely
20 G's can buy you a Mercedes e270 cdi avantgarde. They are absoloutely superb machines. Good economy/performance plus interior quality and it comes with all luxuries like satnav, parking sensors, leather, ac, cd player, auto box etc.

However, for similar money you can pick up an s320 cdi, which is a superior car to most on the road except obviously the new s class.
It would go nowhere for me, I'd like an Aston Martin DB7!!
Mazda RX8 its a beast
Convertable VW I love the sound of the engine as it ticks over
