Vaxhall Car Stereos.?

Ive been given a zafira from work, but the previous company owner swapped out the headunit for his. Once he gave it back, he put back the CD500 vaxhall original headunit.
I now have to enter the security code (which I have!!), but the procedure to enter the code has already been tried 3 times before and now there is a delay before I can enter the correct code.
The display says " ___7_SAFE"
How long does this equate to before I can enter it? the manual only gives 1st (1min) and 2nd (10 mins) What about the third (this being the third time - 7 attempts left)

go to your local dealer with all the documents with the car and they should be able to do it or tell you more
Disconnect the car battery and go again but carefully does it
disconnect da car battery and wait 4 some moments, them plug in da battery and see what happens mey be it'll do.
