Which is more environmentally friendly, travelling by bus or train?
Answers:
well asmuing the electricty is from a renewable power source than the train unless the bus is powered by bio-fuel however i shouldnt think that over all there would be that much diffence as the power supplied on the grid is probaly from a fossil fuel power plant, but travling by train is probaly better for the envrioment as the bus is causing congestion causing more population and plus the more weight on the bus the more population expleed so probaly the train i think lol!
depends on how much you fart!
bus
Going to the railway station by bus
there both about the same ,,because there both run on diesel fuel now days,,one just uses more fuel than the other does,,good luck oi hope this help,s.
TRAIN TRAin train,
HANDS DOWN.
It's a question of energy expended per passenger mile. Bus is considerably less efficient.
But this assumes an optimal passenger load. A greater
numbers improves this ratio.
It's the reason why Europe is in better shape than the US.
The US rail network was 98% dismantled in the 50s, and when the big energy crisis hits -which may not be long- it won't be pretty.
Trains are not running on diesel ! Trains run with electrcity !
Electricity can be produced, oil is refined and it will finally end. Electicity is cheaper then OIL.
There is no war ongoing for electricity as far as I know.
train because it dosent release harmfull gasses into the air , which is 1 of the main causes of pollution.
Train I guess
Obviously the train emits less harmful stuff per passenger-mile than the bus.
