Is there such a place as a train breakers yard?

I'm looking to find a pair of air horns from a loco to mount on a truck. For no other reason than to have big horns!

Answers:
There sure is. In the UK there are several. The most well known and user friendly at the moment is C F Booth's of Rotherham. These people are always scrapping old loco's and will sell anything (I brought a complete loco from them, except funnily enough, it's horns were missing!) other places are Rod Hull Jnr also of Rotherham. There are numerous other scrap metal dealers that break up trains but this is mostly carried out on site at railway depots. E-Bay usually has a pair or two of loco horns on there quite regularly, it's worth keeping an eye out for them.
Its at the end of the line.
It may prove difficult to find your air horns. Many railroads cannibalize locomotives before they come under the cutter's torch, removing still useful items. Horns, whistles and bells come into this category and are always hard to find.

Good luck and happy hunting.
