How do you fix a mark 3 VW Golf that won't start but hasn't no problems with the engine??
Answers:
Check the battery, spark plugs, fuel pump, fuel filter..If they are OK then take your car to a local garage and the people there should find the problem..
get a new battry, thats what i have just done tith my mk3 polo sport now its fine!
take it to the garage
does it have a seat belt that is conected at the door? if so then make sure the wires are connected (no fraying) and the seat belt attached and the door closed.
it helps to be a little more specific. does it turn over?<---big one to know does it have gas? and like the other guy said the battery would be the first places to start
It's quite likely to be the electrics.
Is the battery charged up?
Are you getting a spark?
By the way, is it diesel or petrol?
Has it been lying up for a while?
Give us more detail.
Check the battery and starter motor.
Immobiliser?
Call the AA.
Great, another question with a wealth of information to use in trying to solve the puzzle.
call an auto electrician, they will find the fault far quicker than most garages and many of them will come to where the car is.
