The fuel pump goes on and off wen it wants cav 16v?

its bugging me alot any idears ..when it goes on and off the engine light comes on then goes into stupid mode

Given the number of idiotic questions you have asked about this car, I think it's time you took it to someone who knows about them, and get the bloody thing fixed.

You obviously have no idea, and should leave it alone.
EITHER CHECK YOUR FILTER OR YOUR PUMP .IF THE FILTER ISNT PLUGED THEN ITS THE PUMP GOOD LUCK AND HAVE FUN
THE OVER RUN IS USUALLY CAUSED BY FUEL BEING SUCKED THOUGHT BY THE ENGINE AND NOT THE PUMP
A GOOD SERVICE AND TIMING WILL CURE THIS
YOU MAY NEED TO DO THE TIMING BELT AS WELL
, IF MIGHT HAVE JUMPED A TOOTH

Its probably the fuel pump relay they were modified for this problem.Regards Mick.
