How do I find the colour code for a Y reg Ford Fiesta?

Its Dark Blue and some bugger has keyed it. My Peugeot has a colour code on the inside door post, but the Fiesta hasn't and there's nothing useful in the log book.

There will be a metal plate with a long number on it, and a couple of others underneath. The long one is you Chassis no, on the bottom rght it normally is you will see a a combination of numbers and letters (4 in total) which is marked colour code. Thats the one.
take it to a dealer or garage and they will point it out for free - or just look under the bonnet!

Next time buy a fiat!
go to the main dealer and quot him the chassis code and he will give you al the info you want done it myself
Under the bonnet on the front cross panel, look for a 4" x 2"metal plate, colour code will be on there.
UNDER THE BONNET ON A BIT OF SHINNY METAL RIVETED TO THE BODY ARE CODES WRITE THEM ALL DOWN AND GO TO HALFORDS. YOU CAN THEN LOOK IN THE BOOKS BY THE PAINT OR ASK A MEMBER OF STAFF FOR HELP
try your local car parts store, they should have details on all cars, i had to do the same when i had a burgundy metro!

also sorry to hear about the keying, someone poured emulsion over my car last month. people just don't think about the poor buggers whose car it is!
i really do not have a clue
Under the bonnet look on the VIN plate with the chassis number there should be a colour code number.Best to take car to Ford garage parts dept and ask them which of the numbers is the colour code. If you get the paint from Halfords then the staff should know which number it is too. Good luck
try dvla.co.uk.
The colour has probably faded so even if you have the right colour, you may not get a match.

It won't affect the performance of the car so if it is really bad, try a thin brush to fill in the scratch carefully rather than a spray can.
