Headunit mounting plate for 1Series BMW?
Is there any adapter plate for 1 DIN aftermarket headunits?

Not too many after market manufactureres that make products for BMW and other high class vehicles. My suggestion is to locate a reputable shop in your area and have them fabricate a custom plate either out of fiberglass or ABS plastic. TIP: Try and speak directly with one of the installers rather than a sales person. Most installers love doing custom work and will cut you a better deal to make it for you. Sales person is likely to charge approximately $50 an hour. Good luck!
no , after market only offer kits for that will cover the open space with plastic, yes, it normal looks horrible.
you could try at Scosche or another place that deals with the dash kits, try the link below.. although i don't see a listing for a series 1, but you can contact them directly and they will be very helpful..
you can even buy the wiring harness there and save yourself from cutting and splicing all the wires as well..
