In an incar audio sytems what is a ISO connection or connector??

ive been looking at a new audio system in the shops and keep coming across the words ISO connection and how do i know if i have this, my car is a 2001 peugeot 206 but ive lost the code for the old system and i wanted to have it replaced

All newer sound systems and cars are fitted with ISO which is a universal connection. What it means is that the stereo plugs straight into to your cars audio wiring and works perfect without having to work out where wires go. You have 2 plugs, 1 for speaker connection, and the other for the power. So you can put streo in yourself instead of paying for someone else to do it for you! Hope this helps!
if i wired in something that i wired ISO it means i did it and it fits In Stock Opening or in stock outputs and is compatible with most everything you see and to make most things just plug-and-play . it's another term to make someone sound smart is all so if it is ISO compatible, now you know.
