How much dose it cost to get your car put on a computer?

for a full diagnostics check at fords

Answers:
I paid around £75 for a diagnostic check about 2 years ago, so it would probably be about £85--£90 by now.
Figure they are going to hit you for $100 in most major cities. Why are you doing this? Do you have a specific issue or are you fishing?
It used to be about $75 just to hook it up. A dealer is going to get you good.
at local mechanic shop is around $50.00
It cost £80 for our Alfa a month ago.
I have in the past requested a test via a registered mobile mechanic with a portable Ford Computer Diagnostic Test module. The callout, the test (10 minutes) and the results cost me £30. The results got my car up and running and advised me of faults I never knew I had.
they'll charge you the shop hourly rate for anything you are getting done, doesn't matter if it's an oil change or a diagnostic
