Dvd headunit?

help is need when i put the earth wire to earth its ok
when the live wires get put together it blows the fuses
what /why does it do that help

Do you have the right harness adapter (please tell me you didn't cut off the factory harness).

First, unhook ALL wires and just hook up ground and power, if fuse blows, it's a bad unit. DO NOT let any wire touch any other wire while doing this. Use tape temporarily to insulate them.

Otherwise.there is a short somewhere. Retrace all of the wires. Use butt connectors (crimped), not electrical tape, when connecting wires.
u did disconnect ur car battery first right? other than that they guy above knows wot hes talkin about.
