Licolnshire is often referred to as 'Bomber County'. the majority of bomber commands airfields were in Lincolnshire. Many can be found in Yorkshire also, a quick internet search can reveal most of the names there are too many to list here.
Western Subedge in the Cotswolds was a base for Wellington Bombers if thats any help!
Also you could try the Wellington Museum at Moreton in Marsh they might have some info for you.
