Can you park a smallish motorhome in a town/city (UK)?

I just read that you may not be able to park a motorhome in a city is this true?

Answers:
you can as long as you get a ticket and dont park on any yellow lines
SOME PLACES YOU CAN CHECK WITH THE POLICE IN THAT TOWN
Yes there are restrictions on large vehicles in some town and city centres simply because of narrow roads, traffic congestion and lack of large parking spaces.
Tell them you just need to take a break & then stop over night or as long as you can get away with!
Gipsies do it all the time!
