read owners manual
Wait until the engine is warm, tap the top and use a rag.
Turn it counterclockwise.
Smash the hell out of with a big hammer.
Use an oil filter removal strap
just un screw it
I have a Ford Fiesta so I dont know if it is the same as a Focus, but on my car you have to pull the cap off!
When I got my car I tried everything to get the cap off, I was almost tempted to get a hacksaw and saw it off as I thought it was stuck. I decided to swallow my pride and go to the local Ford garage, where there was a very sexy man (I was so embarrased). The guy stood there opened the bonnett and just pulled the cap off.. Oh My God, I could have crawled under a rather large stone!!
The focus's use the same 2.3l motor in my ranger. just grasp and unscrew counter clock wise. To reinstall, just screw in clockwise untill it clicks 2 or 3 times. It has a forward ratcheting mechanisim to prevent over tightening.
undo it
unscrew it, while pushing it down
should just unscrew anti clockwise.
Take it to a Ford dealer cause if you have to ask its too difficult to even attempt.
Turn it counter clockwise, same process as removing gas cap.
USE A DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN
