Vel Satis !! I've only ever seen one in my life. They had all the popularity of a turd in a swimming pool.
What 'engineering problems' ? The biggest problem is that it was made by Renault, and was a hopeless pile of ugly, unwanted shite.
I thought renault's only had a design life of 3years so if its had its first MOT it's done its job as after this its resale value is less than the cost to replace the tyres.
also should the question be 'Has anyone had expierience of Vel Satis'. most renault mechanics would say "are you sure they imported this into UK as I've never seen one"
my experience is never own renault longer than the warranty period.
