How do you fit rear speakers to your car from scratch?

if your car has no speakers at all in the back then first remove the radio and on the back should be 2 plugs one will have a red yellow and black wires this is the power supply plug the other will have more wires of equal size these are the speaker wires if you have 2 front speakers then there will be two sets of 2 wires used up if there are no other wires then just splice wires onto these and run them back hidden under carpet and trim this wont give you the best sound as you will be halving the power going to the front but will still give you working speakers in the back..if there are more unused wires then just solder speaker cable ont these and run them back along the car remember these wires work in pairs i.e positive-negative right hand front,positive-negative right hand rear etc.best bet is wire your new speakers while you have them on the passenger seat to get this right then transfer them into position on the back of the car .sometimes the wires are colour coded so you cant get them mixed up.as for fitting them in the back the parcel shelf is the easiest but you should buy a piece of wood like mdf and cut it to fit then cut holes to fit the speakers and keep your original parcel shelf for when you sell the car
i assume you mean in the parcel shelf, usually these are just layers of cardboard, so you must reinforce it from beneath with anything u can, so that when you cut the holes for the speakers that it doesnt collapse under the weight. i assume the wiring you can take care of :)
or at the side of the parcel shelf there might be grills where speakers will go in a higher speck model, some have the wires some dont.
I would first of all try and repair the scratch.
