i bought the car 2 days ago and found out i have to pay £25 for the pleasure of me recieving the code

for £25 i would go on to ebay and buy a new stereo instead ps try 0000 as this is the passnumber for most stereo
Turn yourself into the police. That never happens unless you stole the stereo.
If you are a genuine car buyer, and the seller was genuine, you would have got the drivers manual with the car, this usually contain the audio instructions and along with it comes a card with the code on it.
The part number is no good, it will have a bar code on it and that is individual to the car. so they know from the chassis number what the code is.
