Think Tesco car insurance is the cheapest at the mo! err : in UK that is.
If you are in the UK then I strongly advise you to get in touch with Tesco's. They do the cheapest insurance in this country. If you want to reduce your insurance premiums even further, contact a good driving school and tell them you want to do the 6-hour Pass Plus course. That normally entitles you up to 35% discount. However, if you want to go all the way and get the highest possible discount then contact the Intitute of Advanced Motoring. With their course you will pay only tiny percentage of what everybody else pays.

It will depend on your credit and driving history.
The actual model of car makes a massive difference. Basically it depends on how desirable it is to steal, how likely it is to be stolen or whether it's a car likely to be in accidents.
