Car bodykits?
Answers:
Look here for a website with steps on installation. http://www.autosportz.com/articles_bodyk. But a couple of tips:
1. Be ABSOLUTELY sure your are buying the right kit for your car. Cars change body styles every couple of years and even when they don't appear to, they DO. This WILL affect fitment.
2. If you are buying a kit that is not exact, you WILL have to do extensive customizing & fabrication.
3. Try to get an ABS plastic or Urathane kit as they are more durable and can sometimes be fit with heat and patience.
4. If you get a fiberglass kit and have ZERO experience working with fiberglass, give up now and start calling around for quotes. Fiberglass is notoriously difficult to work with for beginners.
Good luck!

Hi sean
As somebody has said you need to have a bit of common sense and assess what kit you want for your car and as it how it will fit up,for eg a VY HSV kit will be modified to suit a VN Commodore but there will have been slight mods in sizing to get this to look good as well as fit properly. Most kits ,generally will fit on,if purchased from a good supplier, however none i have seen will be ready to just paint and fit, they will all need a degree of finishing to get it perfect.Next thing to check is your cars straightness and if it has been in an accident and repaired correctly, this is able to be done with use of several types of caroliners, common equipment found in all good shops, usual costs to check this is around 2-3 hrs of time, but worth it.
Ask your supplier of your bodykit who he uses or recommends, as this is usually a good starting point to the quality and time needed to install his kit.
Hope this helps
