Who coined the erroneous expression "Robin Reliant"?

Why do so many people refer to the "Robin Reliant"? Nobody says they have a "Mondeo Ford" after all. The Reliant Robin was the last model made by the Reliant Motor Company, and it followed the Reliant Rialto and the Reliant Regal. The company also made 4-wheelers such as the Reliant Fox, the Reliant Kitten, and the glorious GT coupe called the Reliant Scimitar.
The first person I heard on TV who got the name backwards was Jasper Carrott, but I feel sure it was already in common use by then. Does anybody know the earliest use of "Robin Reliant"?

Answers:
I'm not sure when i first heard this but i am pleased to know that i am not the only person who feels like screaming at someone when they say it.I have had people argue with me about it which i find incredible.

Little bit worried by your extensive knowledge of the company though.Perhaps we should both get out more.
Sounds like a Trotter'ism to me.
Probably the same kind of people that claim to clean thier house with a Dyson hoover.

I've been hearing the term Robin Reliant since I was at about 7 ? so that would be 1977 pre-dating Trotter I'm sure.
