long life does.check your hand book it might be pd oil.alternatively i can sell you long life at about 27.00 per gallon.but since you will live miles away then tough
Had the same problem with my polo. Do yourself a favour and get rid of it quick. It only gets worse! Using oil is a sign of so many problems. My hubby works with cars and I had mine when I met him, he laughed when he saw my car and told me to get shut, I didn't, he was right!I spent a fortune on it and ended up having it scrapped
it should be in your manual. read it.

It is normal to use oil because the oil is so thin. The oil you need to use is 0w30 grade. it is very expensive. £12.00 per ltr. If u use a cheaper oil it will bring on the indicator in your dash sooner because a sensor in the sump tests the oil viscosity & when it gets thicker it flashes on. Most VW dealers will top up free if u get your servicing done there. I know cause I work in one.
