I have a lend of a fiat brava sx and I can,t find out how to open the bonnet any ideas?

The car is about 10years old and I wanted to check it for water before I use it to go on holiday but I can't find the lever to open the bonnet.

try inside the glove box / under steering wheel or maybe even under front lip of bonnet.

dont think they were push button

in my punto it was under the steering column and on my stilo its in the right hand side of the drivers footwell

start under the steering wheel and keep lookng down until the plastic trim ends, the release should be tucked away just underneath
use a can opener
