How to change gearknob on a mini one?

i own a repair shop,,and these just screw off and on,it may have a set nut under it that you might have to loosen up,,but most of the time it will come off with a little effort,be care full and don't break it,,you may have to re-use it some day good luck i hope this help,s.
By gearknob I assume you just mean the top part, this should just unscrew off.
If you mean the actual gearlever, then go to a garage.

the existing gearknob should simply screw off
it really just screws off using an anti clockwise turn the earlier mini's sometimes had a rubber insert which acted as a shock absorber and might feel very stiff but it will come off!!
