Best induction kit for my car?

It is a SEAT LEON Cupra R 225, have already got a K&N filter on it but my warranty runs out soon so it is time to play, good suggestions please. Stupid answers will be reported

Big Ian i would concentrate more on the exhaust &cylinder head route for this car sports filters can only do so much getting the gases out of the engine is paramount to performance change the inlet cam or get it reprofiled and port the exhaust
to get the max out of the engine make sure you put it on a rolling road use a trusted operater the older the better good luck
Ummm, you already have the best there is on the market.
K&N is the best on the market. The only thing I could suggest is to hold out until a new model/or modification. is available. Check on K&N.com.
i have a pipercross on my c2 vtr gives a good sound but no performance gain as it is a open filter any closed induction kit will be better for performance as it does not suck in warm air but these come at a expence about 200 quid
I own the quikest non-turbo 1.6 Eunos Roadster in the uk..180BHP.

I built my system with imported HKS aluminium tubing & a good old Pipercross kit.
Be aware though, that this being Stage 1 tuning, you really need to upgrade your exhaust now.and I dont mean a shitty back-box from demon-tweeks that does nothing but make it sound slightly louder.tune your manifold as well, as this can give you a major, major push in increased BHP for relatively sod all money.

A Leon can be a beast if tuned right.
K&N panel filter. You could opt for an enclosed induction kit like a BMC CDA. These have a carbon fibre housing that reflects heat, keeping the air cool. As it's a forced air kit cool air will find it's way directly in. You should find an increase in acceleration & response. Although top end is affected. But on our roads this won't matter.

A car modder.
I've got a Viper by Pipercross for my CRX. It's not that great despite costing two hundred quid. Induction is a difficult one, do it wrong and you can really mess up the fuel/air ratio which will actually make your car slower and make it stall the whole time. If you really want one then take a good look not only at how much air it lets in, but also how it delivers it. Look for induction pipes without sharp bends. The best thing to do would be to build an enclosure, you may need to relocate your battery. Whatever you get you will get the best results if you have the engine custom chipped after. Then of course you will have to consider if the exhaust is balanced to it. To do it properly is not just a matter of buying and bolting on. Sometimes it's just better to get a faster standard car.
