I have a French Lorry driver's licence. What else do you need to work in the UK as a Lorry driver?

Here's all I know. It'll be a starting point if nothing else.
To drive permanently here in UK with any vehicle, you will have to take the appropriate UK lessons & test. The best information for you to get is from the DVLA website just punch in your search engine DVLA UK. If your still unsure then ring them..hope it works out for you. Any problems email me through this site

The easiest way to find out is to go to the DVLA (Driver Vehicle & Licensing Authority) webite on
http://www.dvla.gov.uk
if they don't know nobody will.
the ability to drive up the M6 without crashing, killing people and closing the motorway for nearly a day.
( I know those drivers were German, but it does beg the question whether the 'Liberal' UK need to do more regarding the abilities and safety of foreign lorry drivers on our roads)

As far as I know your licence should be valid anywhere in europe now;
I'm English but I passed my Test in Macon, France;When I came back here I used it for 12months ( the French one ) then I just swapped it for a UK licence.That was in 1989 already.
