Why do my feet get really hot in my 82 Porsche 911,no matter where i set the heater, my feet just burn up ?
can anyone shed any light on this 4 me ?
gone through 2 pairs of trainers already!!
Answers:
there will be an air valve of some kind that is stuck open. i dont know the ins n outs of the 911 well enough to tell you where exactly but as the engine is air cooled, the same hot air generated by the engine is used to heat the interior.
contact an owners club or specialist repairer which you'll find in a 911 magazine
your engines on fire
You're just trying to impress women
put your feet out the window
set the AC to shoot at your feet too
quit running so fast, Mr. Flintstone
Pull the fuse.Electric heater.
maybe ur engine heat is going into the cab? not enough insulation? call whoever u bought i from
u r just trying to impress us with the fact u have a porsche take the thing back if its that much of a problem
BORING!
exhaust runs under your feet, or even motor heat if motor is close to fire wall
Engine heat and/or exhaust run under the floorboard, lack of heat shield under floor board.
Heater controls malfunctioned or jammed.
the car is just too hot for you ..
The engines in the back so its a problem with your heating ducts or your heater controls
The heat from the engine is passed under the car body via two heat tubes underneath your car (its the same system on the old VW beetle) if your feet are getting hot then either your controls are stuck or theres a problem with this system!
If it's a Porsche the remedy will not be cheap boyyo!
