Crashed in a jet powered drag car on an old airfield. Hospital, neurgo surgeons looking at him but now stable.

So that will be York dragway I presume. He was going foer a landspeed record in a jet powered car. Presumably UK record.
There are no further details at present. Apart from the car rolled when the 'chute deployed.
Trying for a UK speed record, the car rolled, I have heard anything from 280-318 mph. They say he was talking when they got him out of the wreckage, but they say severe head injuries too.
I am sure we will know more in the morning.
