Answers:
toyota started to include it since several years ago
No, I think Vauxhall have one and I am sure there are a lot more now,
My Vauxhalls got one
gm uses them as well
The answer is obviously no cause my Rover has one too
well other people have alredy answered that this isnt exclusive to ford's, i thought it was but i have to say i work for a pretigous brand that doesnt have this item as a optional extra, and i think that every car should be fitted with this, as i think phone pre wiring should be a standard feature to every new car as it is illegal to use mobile phones whilst driving
No many other car makers use same system.
The reason Ford cars are the most common make to have heated front windscreens is they own the patent on the tiny wires embedded in the screen. Ford charge other manufacturers £200 per screen to use the technology on their cars, so basically getting their getting exclusivity through high prices.
No, my Caterham Super 7 has one (as do all Caterhams).
