I have a 2001 VW bora.. my cd multichanger had a problem.?

.. a cd got stuck in the changer.. i freed it myself by taking the top off the multichanger. it went back exactly how it was but now it wont work.. it has power but the cd player says 'no cd changer'. Any help out there?

its f*cked! u need a new unit..mine done the same & once it went wrong it just got worse no matter what i did so i had to change it x
